Sorry if I sound dumb, but am the owner of a PX7 from new in 1987! Have only ever used it to play on (shame given the cost back in the day!). Anyway, I would love to export my own compositions from the piano to notation software for starters. Think I need a midi driver but cant see from the manual. Any help would be much appreciated. Have musescore software and the midi connector lead to connect the piano to the laptop. Thanks in advance

    Hi

You need an ” USB midi interface ” also called a ” USB to  midi adapter”. (some need a driver)

If you want to record midi and mike or guitar you need an  “audio/midi interface”  (most wiht music software and driver)

    Hope this was helpful
