Hi I have an EA5 and the display is fading in black from all four edges any ideas why please.

I don’t have any idea what would cause that issue, let’s hope someone else knows?

You would probably get a replacement screen from W D Greenhill (try a google search). I believe the Technics/Panasonic part number for EA5 screen is EDMMPJ2B6W but please check in the Service Manual.

If you remove the screen you might also find an alternative part number on it because Technics often bought in screens from other manufacturers. On some models you will find that the screen is the same as a Xerox photocopier for example.
